Course Description

When you work with people, you will inevitably encounter emotions. Emotions are tied to the way you make logical decisions and interact with your colleagues. Effective leaders can manage their own emotional reactions and the emotional reactions of their team. While you cannot control the emotions that you and others experience, you can use leadership techniques to manage these emotions for more productive, successful communication. In this lesson, you will learn about the importance of emotions in the workplace and how to manage those emotions in yourself and in others. You will gain techniques for managing emotions and practice managing emotionally charged situations. This lesson will equip you to better manage your emotional reactions in the workplace and create a positive environment.
