Course Description

Critical reflection is an essential learning philosophy, method and process, and it is a core outcome for community-engaged learning (CEL). The design of any community-engaged course, project or program must include diverse critical reflection strategies that are intentional, well integrated, structured and systematic. This affords you multiple opportunities to describe, analyze, interpret and communicate the value and impact of your CEL experience to both internal and external audiences. 

This course encompasses the critical reflection definitions and models the techniques and best practices necessary to maximize learning and community impact. You will receive the guidance, tools and resources needed to effectively incorporate, practice and assess critical reflection in community-engaged courses, projects and programs.
