Course Description

Climate change and inequality are two pressing challenges facing humanity today. They are inextricably linked, with inequality shaping people's exposure, vulnerability, and resilience to climate change. The effects of climate change are already being felt around the world, and they are expected to become more severe in the future. Human activities are the primary cause of climate change, with the burning of fossil fuels being the biggest contributor.

There are a number of actions that can be taken to mitigate climate change, but it is important to ensure that climate action is implemented in a way that protects the livelihoods and wellbeing of working people and frontline communities. Climate action can take place at a variety of geographic, sociopolitical, and economic levels. It is important to take action at all levels to address climate change and create a more just and sustainable future for all.

This course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the climate change and inequality nexus, and the actions that can be taken to address these challenges. Learners need to progress through each course sequentially.
