Course Description

Given the cultural differences in values, behaviors, and priorities, it is inevitable that tensions will arise when people from different cultures work together. Sometimes everyone's values may be working against each other. As a leader, it is helpful to recognize your own values as well as those promoted by your organization and held by your team members. The recognition that our values can affect our workplace behavior is an awareness that all leaders need to foster. In this lesson, you will explore different approaches to take to manage conflict when it arises as well as a simple, helpful rule you can apply in most situations. You will also consider the role that your sense of identity plays in workplace interactions.
