Course Description

In this lesson, you will examine the need to define the purpose of your system and identify its focus. You will review different types of organizational cultures and how they can impact performance management practices. Through examining feedback from several angles and using the Feedback Tips job aid, you will position yourself to deliver effective feedback. By shifting to examine common rating errors, you will explore a variety of measurement elements with Professor John Hausknecht. This will include determining who, what, when, and how to assess performance. Finally, you will outline a communication plan for how you plan to convey your performance management efforts.
