Course Description

Why do members belong to PSEA? Some members view union membership like an insurance policy — they pay in case they need it. Other members recognize that they have a responsibility for maintaining and strengthening their union by taking an active role. In the strongest locals, members take ownership and are empowered to work towards accomplishing their collective goals. As the key staff person who works with the local, the UniServ needs to meet the local where they are and move them towards a place of greater strength and empowerment. This course will help you prepare you to provide that support.
