Course Description

You work with various unique local unions as a UniServ representative (rep) with the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA). To take this work on, it is essential to be familiar with the structure and operations of PSEA locals. Building relationships with each local union will be paramount to your success. In this course, you will be introduced to the different types of locals, officers, and committees, how the size of the local union may affect its operation, and basic principles for communication and relationship building. In later courses, you will build upon this foundational knowledge.
