Course Description

There are a variety of techniques used in cooking and, when applied correctly, they can harness energy to facilitate ingredient interactions, producing safe and flavorful foods. In this lesson, you will be introduced to the common tools and techniques used in the kitchen to activate and transform ingredients. You will explore the the physical properties of foods and how energy alters ingredients through the preparation of two different vinaigrettes.
