Course Description

If you listen to ads and other forms of persuasion, you will quickly notice that they follow a pattern. First, they get your attention, then they describe a problem, present a solution, and describe what life would be like if you adopted that solution. The final part of this pattern is to ask you to embrace that solution: Buy the car, play the game, change your diet, or try the new medicine. In this lesson, you will explore one such pattern of persuasion called Monroe's Motivated Sequence. You will apply this sequence to your persuasive pitch and evaluate your success.
