The first step in building a diverse candidate pool is to diversify your organization's talent sourcing methods. Talent sourcing encompasses the many ways your organization seeks out potential job candidates and creates funnels for those potential candidates to enter your organization. By evaluating your organization's current talent sourcing methods and diversifying them, you can expand your talent pool and ultimately have a candidate pool for each role that reflects the diversity of the broader world. In this lesson, you will review the most common sourcing and recruiting strategies, including strategies like external referrals and internal hiring.
