Course Description

The physical properties of the soil on a planting site can have as large of an impact on which plants will do well as the chemical properties. In this lesson, you will see how to quantify these physical properties, as well as what their specific impacts are. There are several tests that can be done in the field to evaluate the planting location, and help you to make better decisions on plants to consider using. For the best experience, complete "Site Assessment: Explore a Soil's Physical and Chemical Properties" and "Site Assessment: Recognize Additional Abiotic Site Characteristics" before taking this lesson.

Benefits to the Learner
