Course Description

Finding ways to make historic buildings and preservation strategies more sustainable is only going to become more of a requirement moving forward. In this lesson, you will examine how preservation and sustainability can collaborate and advocate for this balance in the community and the workplace. You may have to persuade stakeholders that changes to preserve the integrity of an historic building can contribute to a sustainable future. You will start thinking about sensitive upgrades that achieve both historic preservation and sustainability goals when trying to balance and highlight the value of sustainable preservation.
