Course Description

Historic preservation and sustainability each have a foothold in the landscape of advocacy for the natural and built environments. In this lesson, you will contextualize preservation from its emphasis on natural spaces to protecting the built environment. Then, to gain insight into how historic preservation and sustainability work together, you will discover the roots of historic preservation and examine the differences between the laws and legislation at both the local and federal levels.
