Course Description

It is sometimes existing policies that create problems and inequities in your community. These problems and inequities could be addressed by changing those policies — or creating new ones.

In this lesson, you will explore what policy is and discover its diverse forms and common characteristics. You will then identify a problem your community faces and describe a policy change that could address it. Finally, you will identify someone with power you could influence to support or enact that policy.
