Course Description

In this lesson, you'll continue looking at behavior that can qualify as monopolistic conduct, like lowering prices to drive away competitors, bundling products together to try to beat competitors, and exclusivity agreements. You'll review the cases that helped define the rules on these practices. You will also examine current monopoly complaints that have been filed against tech giants Google and Facebook, then reflect on the possible outcome of one of those cases. For the best experience, take the first two lessons in the Monopolies and Mergers series in order: Introduction to Monopolies and Duty to Deal, and Monopolies.
