Course Description

In this lesson, you have an opportunity to examine the causes of inequality and the role of economic development in our communities. You will also explore how artists tell the stories of that inequality, work on developing your own analysis of equity in your community and how to change it, and consider how best to work with public officials. For the best experience, complete all three lessons in the Identifying and Fighting Inequity series in order: Examine a Snapshot of Inequality in Our Communities, Investigate the Causes of Inequality in Our Communities, and Study the Basic Skills of Storytelling and Public Policy Advocacy.
