Course Description

Knowing what your operating costs are is the key to understanding how you might be able to reduce them. This starts with data, but collecting data about cost is worthless unless you analyze it and make appropriate decisions. In this lesson, you will consider ways of reducing costs and improving efficiencies through the process known as managerial accounting. You will examine how overhead costs are managed and allocated across an organization, and you will propose strategic financial decisions using managerial accounting and planning.
