Course Description

The Complementary EIR Mentor Training course was adapted from the I-Corps Regional Instructor Training course as a supplementary resource for Entrepreneurs in Residence at Launch NY to enhance their ability to teach the customer discovery process and coaching skills generally. The original material was developed by a joint team of national-level I-Corps instructors, regional Node contributors, and experts in equity and anti-racism training and inclusive teaching practices. It is designed to train qualified instructors to lead the I-Corps regional course, and to do so with confidence and success. Its goals are to create a system for validating instructors' readiness to teach and to help them grow their skills, in order to create consistency in the way the regional I-Corps course is delivered by different instructors.
