Course Description

This course is designed to help Cornell employees better understand two critical University policies: Policy 6.4 and Policy 6.3. Policy 6.4 prohibits bias, discrimination, harassment, and sexual and related misconduct, while Policy 6.3 prohibits certain otherwise consensual relationships when there is a risk that such relationships may lead to an inequitable working or learning environment.

By completing this course, you will understand what conduct is prohibited under these policies, what Cornell does in response to prohibited conduct, and what Designated Reporters — along with supervisors and managers — must do to fulfill their enhanced responsibilities under Policy 6.4. Through scenario-based videos, you will explore the nature of sexual harassment and related issues, and you will come to recognize how to prevent and address incidences of prohibited conduct.

Note: The scenario-based videos you will watch are fictionalized and not based on specific incidents or real persons. Although this training does not include graphic language or images, we recognize that the subject matter may be troubling or upsetting for some learners. We encourage you to exercise self-care, which may include contacting the resources at share.cornell.edu.(Links to an external site.)

If you find yourself unable to complete the training, please email titleix@cornell.edu.
