Course Description

Once you have created a solid design and used heuristic evaluations to improve that design, you need to get the perspective of the user for whom the design is intended. This is where you enter the final stage of the human-centered design process, which is evaluating your design by conducting a usability test. In this lesson, you will examine why usability testing provides invaluable feedback about your design. You will also explore the role that evaluation goals and metrics play in the usability test and how to incorporate them into a plan. Finally, you will consider the logistics involved in planning your usability test.
