Course Description

After some medium-fidelity prototyping and heuristic evaluations, it may seem like you've tried out enough of your design to know whether it works. But a mid-fidelity prototype is still missing some details, some content, and a polished version to show to users. Instead of jumping straight to developing the complete product with the underlying algorithms, databases, and servers, a high-fidelity (also known as hi-fi) prototype gets you close enough to what users will interact with. This will help you finalize design decisions, interaction flows, and the visual aesthetics that can be examined in a usability test. In this lesson, you will explore the benefits of using high-fidelity prototyping to convey a convincing representation of your design to your users. You will then examine a tutorial on how to get up to speed with the hi-fi prototyping application Figma. Next, you will practice using Figma with another GoSlow prototyping activity.
