Course Description

The human-centered design process can be divided into four stages. In an ideal world, you can walk through the stages and create a perfect design the first time. In reality, however, you will seldom get the design right on your initial attempt. You may skip a stage or combine some stages, or you may have to iterate the entire process several times. In this lesson, you will examine the four stages and how they relate to one another. You will also practice iterating over the HCD design process.

Benefits to the Learner

  • Explore the four stages involved in the iterative human-centered design process
  • Identify how each stage in the process works with the other stages
