Course Description

Once a brand has developed a clear and consistent brand voice, social marketers can begin content creation. This next step should start by defining a creative strategy, or "big idea," for the social campaign. In this lesson, you will determine how to create a brand-generated social media content strategy around a single theme or story (i.e., "big idea"). You will then consider an example of a creative campaign for Inner Beauty Cosmetics to explore successful social campaign content and analyze best practices for making good social media content as well as what to avoid. Finally, you will examine how to create a central campaign theme and design brand-generated content ideas that support the theme and address brand marketing goals on specific social media platforms.
