Course Description

In this lesson, you will explore the 5Cs of marketing, with a particular focus on the customer. You will use these concepts to identify the target market of a brand or product and perform an audience persona analysis geared toward personifying the brand's target customer, which will help pinpoint a specific market segment that will inform your future campaign strategies. After examining the customer, you will delve into three more of the 5Cs: competition, company, and collaborators. You will assess how competitive analyses are performed and how to drive them via social media, and you will evaluate data analytics software to help inform specific parts of the analysis. You will then perform a high-level competitive analysis for a company of your choice by analyzing the brand's value proposition, its competitive threats and opportunities, and the potential for collaboration to help amplify the brand's social media marketing efforts.
