Course Description

Leadership in a workplace takes different forms: It can come from those with formal authority who know how to provide support, leadership, and direction; or it can come from peers within project teams who know how to motivate, assist, and inspire without any formal authority. Whatever the form, we know that when the call to action arrives in tandem with concern for our well-being, this is part of what separates ineffective leadership from great leadership. In this lesson, you will define leadership and identify its components. You will also define what a team is and explore the difference between a team and a high-performing team.
