Course Description

In this lesson, you will explore the brewing process and the grains used for malting at a high level before the focus turns to barley. Barley is the most common grain used as malt in brewing beer. Its role in the finished beer begins as the grain is forming in the field and continues during modification of the raw barley grain. That modification is the result of the malting process and is the key to achieving your wort specifications and recipe targets.
