Course Description

The ultimate goal of producing a beverage is, of course, to consume it. To more accurately communicate your sensory experiences, you must approach evaluation in a systematic way. This will also enable you to better define those aspects of particular beverages that you do or do not enjoy and help you discover new beverages to try. In this lesson, you will develop your sensory skills through careful practice and reflection. Learning to incorporate all of your senses in the evaluation process will improve and enhance your enjoyment of all types of fermented products. Finally, you will become more confident in your sensory evaluation skills by practicing with a variety of fermented beverages.
