Course Description

Though climate change can be a highly polarizing topic, it might surprise you to learn that a recent Yale University study found that seven in ten Americans agree that global warming is occuring and that a majority of the U.S. population concurs that human activities cause it. Yet, interestingly, almost two-thirds of those surveyed do not discuss this topic with others. Why is that? In this lesson, you will explore some of those reasons as well as pragmatic tips on how you can facilitate conversations about climate change in your personal life and organization. You might find it difficult to have these conversations in some environments, but doing so is the first step in solving the climate change challenges we face. The more we talk about it, the more normal these conversations will become.
