Course Description

Organizational goals should drive labor negotiation goals. Often, however, some pressures that drive negotiations actually reflect ideological, personal, or other struggles, and being able to bargain among these subtle forces can help prevent distractions and tangential arguments. In this lesson, you will explore practical strategies for approaching negotiations and how to choose which approaches will ensure focus on your organization's goals. You'll also evaluate opportunities for and challenges to your organization and whether they will necessitate changes in the labor agreement.
