A maker space is a collaborative work space for exploring creative ideas using low- and high-tech tools. In this lesson, you will learn about the maker competency and how to nurture a maker culture in your organization. You will also identify low- and higher-tech maker tools. Additionally, you will identify the risks of a maker culture and how to mitigate them. Through this work, you will assess whether creating a maker culture should be a part of your innovation strategy.
