Course Description

A key skill for HR practitioners or hiring managers is the ability to attract talent to the organization. Today, the availability of social media tools has changed this process, although the end result is the same. Because the tools change so quickly, this lesson offers a framework for using social media to your advantage, rather than discussing specific social media platforms in detail. In this lesson, you will use tools to determine a value proposition for an employer brand and describe the function of an employer brand in attracting talent. You will use social media to assess talent's perceptions and expectations of an employer. You will also determine strategies for communicating an employer brand and developing a social media communication plan to attract talent to an organization.
