Course Description

Experience Level: Getting Started

This workshop focuses on how professionals can responsibly integrate AI tools into their day-to-day work while maintaining ownership of final decisions and outcomes. Participants will explore how to use AI as a drafting and review aid to accelerate early-stage work without outsourcing judgment. The session emphasizes distinguishing between tasks where AI enhances productivity and those that require independent reasoning, contextual expertise, or careful evaluation. Participants will learn to recognize when AI adds value versus when it introduces risk, noise, or false confidence, using it as a productivity aid while avoiding common errors, misuse, and overreliance.

Benefits to the Learner

  • Use AI as a drafting and review aid while maintaining responsibility for final judgment, distinguishing between tasks where AI accelerates work and tasks that require independent reasoning or contextual expertise
  • Identify when not to use AI by recognizing situations involving confidentiality, ethical sensitivity, contextual nuance, or high-accuracy requirements where current systems introduce risk rather than value

Target Audience

  • Mid-level managers and project leads responsible for delivering outcomes under tight deadlines
  • Marketing and communications leaders overseeing high-volume content production and brand messaging
  • Business analysts and consultants tasked with making data-driven recommendations for clients or leadership teams
