Course Description

Successfully managing risk is a key factor in delivering Six Sigma projects that meet business goals. In this course, you will focus on identifying and measuring risk across various domains, including manufacturing, finance, natural disasters, and cybersecurity. You will apply tools such as failure mode and effect analysis, quality function deployment, and voice of the customer to manage and mitigate risks effectively in diverse contexts. You will focus on adapting risk management tools to specific scenarios and synthesizing common strategies across different industries. Finally, you will incorporate risk analysis into product design and production processes, enhancing quality and reducing failures. By the end of the course, you will be prepared to evaluate risk in real-world situations and formulate strategic recommendations for risk mitigation.

This course requires you to complete various statistical calculations using Microsoft Excel or another tool, language, or software of your choice.
